How to care for Dura-Seal Ceramic Coatings

Wash regularly

Wash your car at least once every two weeks, or more often if possible. Washing removes contamination and helps maintain the coating's performance.

Wash in the shade

Avoid washing your car in direct sunlight, as this can cause water spots and streaks. In the hotter months of the year wash late in the day when temperatures are dropping if possible. Never allow any water on products to dry out on the vehicle.

Pre-Rinse

Always pre rinse your vehicle to remove all loose contaminants. Low pressure water blasters are safe but not essential, a regular hose will work just fine

Use a pH neutral car wash

Use a car wash soap that's pH neutral and formulated with lubricating agents.  Follow the link to purchase Dura-Seal M Wash

Hand wash

Hand wash your car whenever possible with a microfiber wash mitt, as mechanical car washes can use strong detergents and high-water pressure. Always rinse the vehicle post wash before drying as there may still be contaminants floating in soap on vehicle. Dry thoroughly

Rinse and dry your car thoroughly after washing. Don't let water, washing agents, or drive-through car wash water dry on the surface. Only use a plush drying towel or microfiber drying towel. If you have the ability to blow dry this is even better as it is one less point of contact minimising the risk surface damage. I use a cordless leaf blower and get great results and is much faster than towel drying in most cases. Click the link to purchase recommended drying towels
